 My story begins like many who live on the Outer Banks... summers at the beach, followed by a brief departure and then, after the realization that you can't think of enough reasons why you left a place that you loved so much, a return.
In the fall of 1986, after obtaining a masters degree from The College of William and Mary, I began selling real estate on the Outer Banks. Over 23 years of selling real estate full time, I have helped many, many families find their place in the sun.
Here is a bit about my style: In a sales course I took a number of years ago, the instructor said to be truely successful in sales, you have to have a "burning desire to close the sale". I learned early on this way of thinking was not for me. Instead, I believe I attribute my success in real estate sales to a burning desire to help you make good decisions and once those are made, to professionally follow up and negotiate on your behalf to achieve your goals.
